Description
Heritage variety with deep crimson flowers. Upright sturdy, short pods. Produces a good crop of very tasty beans.
Sowing instructions: Sow Seeds February to March in 5cm (2") deep in rows 60cm (24") apart. Sow a few extra seeds at the end of a row to replace any gaps at the rows.
Growing Instructions: If necessary thin seedlings to 10cm (4") apart. When the first pods have set pinch out the top 6cm (3") to discourage black fly.
After Care: Bean plants are nitrogen fixers. When cropping is over, cut plants down and dig in as a green manure.
