Description
Fragrant and dramatic garden subject. Larger leaves than Dark Opal, heavily fringed and ruffled, dark purple almost black in colour. Height 35-45cm.
Sowing Time: February Onwards.
Sowing instructions: Sow seeds from February onwards 1.5mm (1/16in) deep in good seed compost. Germination usually takes between 10 days to 2 weeks at 15-18C.
Growing Instructions: Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle into 3in pots. Later harden off and plant out 14in apart into ordinary well drained soil in full sun when all risk of frost is past.
