Description
A very hot pepper (used for hot pepper eating contests in the U.S.A.!). Extremely pungent plants reach up to 1 metre under cover. High yielding.
Sowing Time: March to April.
Sowing Instructions: Sow seeds on the surface of a free-draining compost and cover with a fine sprinkling of compost. Place in a propagator at 25-30C until after germination, which takes 10 to 15 days.
Growing Instructions: Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle into 3in pots. Plant in final situation when plants are 4in high, 18in apart. Outdoor crops - acclimatise plants to outdoor conditions before planting in sunny, fertile, moist, well drained soil, after all risk of frost.
After Care: Feed plants weekly with a tomato fertiliser once first fruits have set.
