Description
Very hardy butterhead type for growing outside during the winter. Compact bright green heads ready in spring from autumn sowing.
Sowing Time: Sow seeds September to October
Sowing Instructions: Sow seeds thinly 13mm (½in) deep in drills 30cm (12in) apart in soil which has been raked to a fine tilth.
Growing Instructions: When large enough to handle, thin out seedlings to 30cm (12in) apart.
After Care: Harvest a few leaves from each plant. Keep well watered during spells of dry weather.
