Description
A high yielding, uniform bunching onion, suitable for both spring and autumn sowings. Upright habit and dark green foliage. Good cold tolerance. Can be harvested when slightly bulbing or left to form 'Continental' style bunching onions with round, pure white bulbs.
Sowing Time: March to April.
Sowing Instructions: Sow seeds thickly in broad drills for bunching onions. Sow 13mm (½in) deep, in drills 30cm (12in) apart. If sowing for mature bulbs, sow seed more thinly.
Growing Instructions: You don't need to thin seedlings for salads. If for bulbs, thin to 5cm (2in) for smaller bulbs or 10cm (4in) for larger bulbs.
After Care: Will grow in any fertile, well-drained soil in full sun. Keep well watered.
