Similar to above but with large tankard shaped roots.
Has crisp tasty flesh which can be sliced or grated for use in winter salads.
Sowing Time: June to September.
Sowing Instructions: Sow seeds at regular intervals into a well cultivated soil. Sow seeds very thinly ½in deep in drills 6in apart.
Growing Instructions: Thin out seedlings to 1in to 3in apart.
After Care: Water well during dry spells.
