Sowing Instructions: Sow indoors 3-4 weeks before last spring frost. Sow seeds ½in deep, in pots of moist seed sowing mix. Place in a propagator or warm place, and keep at a constant temperature of between 20-25°C. After sowing, do not exclude light as this helps germination. Keep the surface of the seed sowing mix moist but not waterlogged, germination will usually take 8-12 days.
Growing Instructions: When at the 3 leaf stage, transplant seedlings on into 5in pots for a few weeks before planting out, 24in apart in a sunny sheltered spot on rich, well-drained soil.
After Care: Water regularly and feed with an organic liquid fertiliser every 10 days.
