Description
Large, fleshy, slightly ribbed Marmande type, red Beefsteak fruits with a very good flavour and are juicy with very few seeds but firm flesh. Ideal for slicing into sandwiches or adding to salads or burgers. Fruits are typically 250-350 grams in size but are capable of reaching up to 500 grams.
Sowing Time: February to June.
Sowing Instructions: Space the seeds 2cm apart in trays or individually in modules under glass at 18°C. Cover with polythene or glass to retain humidity.
Growing Instructions: Remove cover as soon as seedlings appear. Once true leaves have opened, prick off tray seedlings into 9cm pots. When the first flowers are forming, transplant to growing site.
After Care: Water and feed plants regularly.
