Description
A popular amateur variety, for harvesting in February and March. Spears can be harvested over several weeks.
Sowing Time: Sow seeds between April - June
Germination: Germinates at 10 - 25°C.
Sowing Instructions: Sow seeds into trays or a well prepared seed bed in drills 1cm (1/2") deep spaced 30cm (12") apart. Cover seeds with a fine soil and keep moist during germination.
Growing Instructions: When the seedlings are 2 inches tall thin or transplant to their final site 75 x 75cm (30 x 301n) apart.
After Care: They will grow in most soils but must be planted firmly. Water well until they become established.
