Description
A unique variety that produces small dark green buttons around half the size of standard sprouts. Normally matures in November but will continue to hold baby sized sprouts through to late January. Good flavour and texture.
Sowing Time: Sow seeds between March - April
Germination: Germinates at 10 - 25°C.
Sowing Instructions: Start seeds indoors or direct sow thinly into a well prepared seed bed 1cm (1/2") deep in drills 30cm (12 inches) apart and cover seeds with fine soil. Keep soil moist during germination.
Growing Instructions: Thin out seedlings to 10cm (4 inches) apart when large enough to handle, then later transplant to final site (Brussels sprouts grow best in a sunny location with a rich well drained compacted soil) allowing 75cm x 75cm (30 x 30 inches) between plants. Water well until plants are established.
