Description

Produces a high yield of round, smooth, very dense buttons which are well spaced on the stalk. A high percentage of marketable sprouts at harvest period. Shows tolerance of ring spot, powdery mildew and white blister. With good shelf life and well flavoured sweet sprouts.

Sowing Time: Sow seeds between March - April

Germination: Germinates at 10 - 25°C.

Sowing Instructions: Start seeds indoors or direct sow thinly into a well prepared seed bed 1cm (1/2") deep in drills 30cm (12 inches) apart and cover seeds with fine soil. Keep soil moist during germination.

Growing Instructions: Thin out seedlings to 10cm (4 inches) apart when large enough to handle, then later transplant to final site (Brussels sprouts grow best in a sunny location with a rich well drained compacted soil) allowing 75cm x 75cm (30 x 30 inches) between plants. Water well until plants are established.

After Care: Brussels sprouts grow best in a sunny location with a rich well drained compacted soil.
