Description
An older variety regaining popularity due to its exceptionally sweet flavour when used for baby carrot production. Evenly shaped, tapered stump root with smooth skin and excellent colour.
Sowing Time: Sow seeds between April to October
Germination: Germinates at 8 - 30°C.
Sowing Instructions: Sow seeds outdoors from April in a rich, well drained soil which does not contain fresh manure or compost. Sow seeds in drills 1cm (½in) deep, spaced 30cm (12in) apart.
Growing Instructions: When the seedlings are large enough to handle, start thinning them out so that they are finally 10cm (4in) apart.
After Care: As the carrots grow push soil up over any exposed roots.
