Description
A late Berlicum variety with the potential to deliver very high yields. The roots are 20-22cm in length, oval to cylindrical in profile with a medium-blunt to blunt tip. Good texture, flavour and shelf life.
Sowing Time: Sow seeds between March to July
Germination: Germinates at 8 - 30°C.
Sowing Instructions: Sow seeds outdoors from March in a rich, well drained soil which does not contain fresh manure or compost. Sow seeds in drills 1cm (½in) deep, spaced 30cm (12in) apart.
Growing Instructions: When the seedlings are large enough to handle, start thinning them out so that they are finally 10cm (4in) apart.
After Care: As the carrots grow push soil up over any exposed roots.
