Description
A good Lollo Bionda variety, suited to glasshouse and open field production during the spring, summer and autumn. Compact and voluminous head. Wide, fleshy, thick leaves with fine crispy edges.
Sowing Time: Sow pills from March at 3 weekly intervals until the end of July.
Sowing Instructions: Sow Pills thinly 13mm (½in) deep in drills 30cm (12in) apart in soil which has been raked to a fine tilth.
Growing Instructions: When large enough to handle, thin out seedlings to 30cm (12in) apart.
After Care: Harvest a few leaves from each plant. Keep well watered during spells of dry weather.
