An excellent hybrid red-veined variety, with uniform paddle shaped leaves. Best suited to spring and autumn sowings when the red-vein colour is most vibrant. Ideal for baby leaf production.
Sowing Time: March to mid July.
Sowing Instructions: Sow seeds thinly outdoors ½in deep in broad drills 12in apart in soil which has been raked to a fine tilth. Earlier and later sowings can extend the season under cloches.
Growing Instructions: Thin seedlings to 3in apart when large enough to handle. Harvest leaves as required, picking only a few from each plant. Keep well watered during dry weather.
Sowings made in height of summer may bolt. Prefers a rich, moist well drained soil in full sun.
