Description
High yielding Ox-horn variety, producing long pointed fruits that typically mature at around 16cm in length. The skin is smooth, while the flesh is thick, crunchy and sweet.
Sowing Time: March to April.
Sowing Instructions: Sow seeds indoors ½in deep in cell pack containers, 1-2 seeds per cell, then leaving one plant per cell. Keep warm - germination takes 10-20 days at soil temperatures of 20-30C.
Growing Instructions: Transplant the seedling when they have two pairs of leaves or more into 3in pots and eventually to 5in pots. Set out hardened transplants after all danger of frost and when the ground has thoroughly warmed in the spring. Set plants 20in apart in rows 2 feet apart.
After Care: Feed regularly with a liquid fertilizer.
