Description
The semi-round fruits have slightly ribbed tops, and are typically 7-8cm in diameter. The flesh is thick and crisp, with a very sweet flavour. Highly productive, compact plants. Matures from green to intense yellow.
Sowing Time: March to April.
Sowing Instructions: Sow seeds indoors ½in deep in cell pack containers, 1-2 seeds per cell, then leaving one plant per cell. Keep warm - germination takes 10-20 days at soil temperatures of 20-30C.
Growing Instructions: Transplant the seedling when they have two pairs of leaves or more into 3in pots and eventually to 5in pots. Set out hardened transplants after all danger of frost and when the ground has thoroughly warmed in the spring. Set plants 20in apart in rows 2 feet apart.
After Care: Feed regularly with a liquid fertilizer.
