Description

Each plant forms three to five small pumpkin-like fruits of intense orange red with a golden flesh, averaging 1.5Kg. Very early to mature with superb storage characteristics.

Sowing Time: April to May.

Sowing Instructions: Sow seeds in 3in pots at 20-25C of a good free draining, damp seed compost, 1/2in deep. Place in a propagator or seal container inside a polythene bag until after germination which takes 10-15 days.

Growing Instructions: Gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions for 10-15 days before planting out after all risk of frost, 12cm apart. Can also be sown direct outdoors once the soil has warmed. Sow 2 seeds every 120cm and later thin out to the strongest seedling.
