Description
August sowing, for May-June harvest. A unique spring cabbage forming solid ball heads, reaching 1-1.5kg in weight. Good standing ability, and cold tolerance.
Sowing Time: Sow seeds Mid August to Mid September
Germination: Germinates at 10 - 25°C.
Sowing Instructions: Sow seeds outdoors In August. Thinly in a prepared seedbed, 1cm (1/2") deep 23cm (9in) apart in soil raked to a fine tilth and which contains plenty of compost or manure.
Growing Instructions: Transplant the seedlings when they are large enough to handle, 10-15cm tall into a well prepared soil in a sunny spot, allowing 30 -38cm (12-15in). Plant firmly and water in. Compact plants allow closer spacings and less wasted outer leaves.
After Care: Keep moist and weed free.
